Graphing Systems of Linear Equations and Inequalities
GeoGebra is a very user-friendly technology program that brings together geometry, algebra, spreadsheets, graphing, statistics and calculus in one easy-to-use package! In this activity, students will use GeoGebra to graph systems of linear equations and inequalities. Before completing this activity, students must have an understanding of how to graph systems of equations on paper. Once students understand this process, they can use this program to learn how systems of inequalities differ from systems of equations in relation to their solutions. GeoGebra will not only graph equations and inequalities for students; the program can also compute calculations for students and can be used for a multitude of mathematical procedures. GeoGebra can be beneficially used for students in middle school and high school, and can be incorporated into any curriculum to enhance student's learning on a wide variety of topics.
